In the interest of being energy-wise, (and the fact that one room in my house is really cold) I took some Infra-red pictures of my house today. I used a hand-held FLIR camera…I highly reccommend it - it is not only very informative, but unbelievably fun! (hand prints on skin last for a long time!)

Go out and get one…and go ahead, stand in front of the mirror with it. You know you want to.

Note that wordpress.org has a forum running on BBpress…and the two are not integrated. This looks like a real integrated forum. Will have to try it out.

If you have never been to Deviantart, then you really dont know what you are missing. It is the largest online collection of art EVER. Everything from kids crayon drawings to professional photgraphy and everything in between. Here are a few of my favorites.

I have quite a large music collection. And I am quite anal about keeping it organized. I use various tools and utilities to manage the file names, directory structure, and id3 tags in order to keep a lid on the chaos. I try to convert all the files to vfat-safe file names and try to keep the tags in UTF-8 encoding to make them more accessible across various platforms and applications. Why? One because I hate a disorganized catalog, and two because I have this collection cataloged in at least two applications.
