Just like overlib but with a GREAT fade in. Also will automatically pick up all anchor tags with no additional codeing. (displays the titles)
Update: I have ditched overlib pop ups (for now) in favor of these. I love the fade in, and the fact that I dont have to add the overlib mouseover function calls to everything I want to have a popup or tool tip.
I might still use overlib for poping up html pages, like a ‘mail form’ or something, but for now this suits me just fine.
Text in any font you want!
Web designers have been hamstrung by the extremely small number of cross-platform / cross-browser fonts available. Most of the time, if a designer wanted a special font that was not veranda, helvitica, or some generic serif type, he or she had to make a graphic of the text and place it in as an img. If the content was to be dynamic , this was impossible. In steps the talented artists and designers that are the world-class contributers to a list apart
.
Stewart Rosenberger is one of those enviable men, and he has created a really cool way to create these images on the fly using any font.
